Travel

How do I get to
Dharamkot?

Dharamkot sits just up the hill from McLeod Ganj. Getting here is pretty straightforward depending on how you prefer to travel.

By Air

The closest airport is Gaggal (Dharamshala) Airport, about a 45-minute drive away. Grab a taxi straight from the airport up to Dharamkot.

By Bus

Comfortable overnight buses run daily from New Delhi and Chandigarh, dropping you at the McLeod Ganj main bus stand.

By Train

The nearest major train station is Pathankot — about a 2.5 to 3-hour taxi ride into the mountains, or catch a local bus to McLeod Ganj.

The Final Stretch

Once you make it to McLeod Ganj, Dharamkot is just a 2km uphill stretch. Catch a quick 10-minute taxi or tuk-tuk from the main square — or enjoy a lovely 20 to 30-minute walk up through the trees to the studio.
